Good afternoon First Grade Families!
Another great week in 1st Grade! We accomplished a lot of learning in that short week. Wow! What a difference that extra day will make :) Looking forward to the 'almost' complete week ahead.
In celebration of Dr. Seuss' Birthday, National Reading Month and March Madness we are going to take the kids through the process of "Bracketology". We will be using books written by Dr. Seuss to eventually determine the favorite as chosen by the 'experts' in Room 1 and Room 2! To help us kick off the event we would love suggestions from you. Do you have a favorite Dr. Seuss book that we could include in the bracket? If so, please email the title to me.
Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for March 2-4. I sent an email yesterday with the zoom link included. Our student teacher Colton, will be sitting in on some of our conferences. He has done a fantastic job in our classroom and the kids are enjoying this teaching opportunity. Please let me know if you have any questions.
