Good Afternoon First Grade Families!
Hope you are enjoying this fun, fall weekend. .. Certainly lots of things to do!
We had a fun Halloween Party... Treats were delicious and the costumes were awesome!
Thank you to those who helped out with the food and festive table wear!
I added some photos for you to see the cute costumes and activities!
The kids have earned another class reward! They have chosen Show and Tell! I I will let you know soon which day this will happen. Most likely Wednesday or Thursday :)
I am hoping that most of you know that our school was chosen to be a Blue Ribbon School! As a result of that, I will be traveling to Washington DC with Dr. Travis and Mrs. Gust on Thursday and Friday of this week to accept the award! It is truly an honor to be able to do this. I will share a picture or two if possible and I hope to facetime with the kids as well. Jessica Gray will be teaching and taking care of the kids while I am gone. If you have any concerns or questions during this time please get in touch with Stephanie Allen in the DES office.
Parent Teacher Conferences will be on November 16, 17 and 18. We will meet via zoom again this year.
Friday, November 19 is a 1/2 day for students.
