Hello First Grade families!
As always, I hope you are enjoying the weekend and getting time to rest and relax after a busy work week.
PTO News: Our class is in a 'heated contest' with Mrs. Losik's class for 1st place in the Walk-a-Thon fundraiser. Needless to say, the kids are super excited. And lots of students received prizes on Friday! Two more weeks to go!
Things you can do at home to support our efforts in the classroom:
- your child should read something everyday
- practice reading and writing the 'words to read and spell' *listed below
- solve a few simple addition problems (within 10) everyday
- review the sounds of all letters
- talk about following school rules and good classroom behavior
