Good afternoon First Grade Families,
Here is a bit of news and reminders as we begin another week in 1st grade!
Tuesday, May 18: Field Trip to the Outdoor Discovery Center. We will leave school at 8:45 and return at 11:15. Please have your child wear sensible shoes for walking. This entire trip involves walking to and from the Birds of Prey site. We will follow guidelines for mask-wearing based on current School and ODC policies.
As we are nearing the end of what seems to be an 'epic' school year, we are in the process of completing year-end testing and assessments in all content areas. I am seeing some amazing growth in these little learners! I am so proud of all that we have accomplished together!
Although we are almost done with school, we are running low on some important supplies such as glue sticks and markers. We may need a few extra packages of each to make it to the end of the year :) If you would like to donate some please let me know.
