Hello First Grade Families,
We had another great week in 1st grade! The hi-lite of our week most likely was our trip to the Blue Star Cafe! The kids chose this for filling our classroom 'gumball machine" ! Not only was the ice cream delicious; we received a surprise at the end, when some very special locals paid our tab :) I love our small town and the special people who live here.
The kids are doing great working together to make our classroom a safe, yet fun place to learn. Soon, they will fill the gumball machine again and we will choose something else as a reward!
