Good afternoon First Grade families,
We had a pretty good week in 1st grade. The 'day off' in the middle of the week put us off our regular routine and we also had lots of rainy days and indoor recesses, but overall we made things work!
Your 1st graders are continuing to learn and grow as we go along!
Upcoming Dates and Things:
October 19: Both First Grade classes are walking to Beery Field to enjoy the extra recess reward along with a popsicle treat given to us by our PTO.
Fingers crossed for good weather :)
October 22: All School CRAZY HAIR DAY!
October 29: Halloween at School. We are still thinking about how we will be able to celebrate this Fall tradition at DES. Construction and COVID are our biggest obstacles at the time. I will keep you posted as we work to put together a safe and happy experience.
