Good afternoon First Grade Families,
Hope you are enjoying this beautiful weekend and had time to relax and rest. I am looking forward to our first full week of school! Tomorrow is our first experience with a Monday schedule. We have a good routine overall and the kids seem to be enjoying our classroom!
*Coming up... a little Social Studies School/Home work
1. Show and Tell: starting this week your child can bring something (not too large, space is limited this year) to school to share with the class. Students can bring something that is a 'favorite' or something they really like etc. The students will take turns showing and sharing throughout each day this week.
2. All About Me Posters! I will be sending home a poster for your child to complete and return to school. The students will use the posters to help share special things about their families! Project is due by Wednesday, September 22!
